Konrad Milan is a freelance cinematographer based in Vienna with over a decade of experience in narrative and commercial projects. He began making films early on, driven by a deep passion for visual storytelling. After initially training as a jazz musician, Konrad shifted his focus to film and was accepted at the Filmakademie Wien, where he honed his skills in cinematography.
His work includes a Student Academy Award-nominated short film and several award-winning commercials. Konrad’s style combines a documentary approach with a strong reactivity to surroundings, emphasizing the incorporation of natural light and creatively utilizing the given resources. His keen interest in the art of editing informs his cinematography, ensuring that each shot contributes to an immersive flow that enhances the narrative.
